Mr Brent Tanner has worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 1984. First and foremost, his work has been at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, where he was Director of the Burns Unit. The Queen Victoria Hospital was developed during the Second World War to treat the horrific burns of pilots shot down by enemy fire and has become renowned throughout the word for its excellent plastic surgery unit. Mr Tanner is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) where he has also been a member of the council.
