During your PRP hair loss treatment, the first thing we will do is draw your blood, usually from your arm. We will then use a machine which will separate the fluids from your blood into three categories: red blood cells, platelet-rich plasma (PRP)and platelet-poor plasma. It’s the platelet-rich plasma that we need to stimulate your natural hair growth! The PRP is then reinjected into your scalp – as it is part of your own blood, there is no risk when it comes to reinjection.
