What Is A PRP Facelift?
Are you looking to have one of our PRP Facelifts? A PRP facelift is also known as a vampire facelift. This treatment gets its name from the process – where platelets are re-injected to help stimulate new blood vessel formation, collagen production and helps build a new dermis so the skin is plumper, rejuvenated and more youthful-looking.
The PRP Facial, London includes a needle which injects both the plasma and hydrochloric acid filler into the face, resulting in the face looking frim and much less elasticated. PRP can be applied to the skin by micro-needling and/or injection. We use both methods to ensure your skin gets the best benefits from both methods. You may experience ‘sunburned’ type of skin feeling from 30 minutes to 48 hours depending on your skin sensitivity and healing process.’
What To Expect After A PRP Facelift?
Once the procedure is over, you will expect to experience some mild side effects such as redness in the areas which we have worked on. We would strongly advise you not to touch your face shortly after the procedure is over, but your individual consultant will talk you through the aftercare process at the end of your appointment. If you are looking for instant results, you will experience immediate plumping results from the dermal filler. The team at The New York Laser Clinic wants to help you transform your skin today!

1) Tighter, Plumper and Rejuvenated Skin
Microneedling encourages the production of collagen and elastin that will renew the skin cells. Platelets help enhance smoothness, reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture. Also, a combination of PRP with Microneedling helps to improve imperfections including acne scars, sun spots, melasma and wrinkles.
Compared to other aesthetics options, PRP is a non-invasive treatment and does not use surgery, deep injections, or harsh lasers or skin break to achieve the benefits.
3) Short Recovery with Minimal Downtime
No downtime for PRP with needle injections. When it’s combined with micro-needling, your skin will appear red and flushed however this a good sign that your skin is working to heal and produce Collagen and Elastin. Within 24 to 48 hours redness usually subsides. Skin peeling and mild dryness may occur.
4)Comfortable with Minimal Pain
Mild topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment areas. Since micro-needling only penetrates the top layer of skin, there are very few sensory nerves to trigger pain and numbing cream reduces the pain.
5) Long-Lasting Results
Although results are not instant positive effects of PRP can last up to 24 months. We do advise to have a course of 3 treatments over 3 months for dramatic results and maintain with a treatment every 3 months after you’ve completed your course. During your consultation we will also recommend products to help enhance your results.
